Template policy — review before launch
This page is standard-practice scaffolding, not legal advice. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and it still contains placeholders that the store operator must replace with their own verified details.
Store operator: replace the placeholders, have this page reviewed by your own counsel, then set review_status to "reviewed" in its source file to remove this notice.
Request access, correction or deletion
Tell us which privacy right you want to exercise and the relevant account or order. We record account requests as support tickets so you can follow replies and the final outcome.
You do not need to create an account to exercise your rights. Identity checks and lawful retention may apply. Do not attach identity documents or passwords; request a secure verification channel when needed.
This Privacy Policy describes how the merchant identified on the contact page (the store operator, we, us) handles personal information when you browse this store, create an account, place an order, act for a company, or contact support.
The shopping bag can be saved on your device and, for supported account or guest-cart flows, on our server. Catalog browsing does not by itself create a paid order. Submitting checkout may create a pending-payment order, temporarily reserve stock, and create a provider payment session; payment, shipping, return, and refund records are updated as those events occur. Company purchasing can create quotes, purchase orders, and receivables. Platform billing data is separate. Product-view history and saved-product comparisons may remain on your device; see the Cookie Notice.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the store, we may collect:
- Identity and contact data — name, username, email, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, and preferred language.
- Account and security data — sign-in identifiers, authentication events, permissions, sessions, and fraud or abuse signals. Passwords are handled in protected form rather than stored as readable text.
- Basket and order data — shopping-bag contents, which may include a device copy and a server copy associated with your account or a random guest-cart cookie identifier; then order contents, the policy text and merchant facts presented for the purchase, your terms confirmation time, totals, status, refunds, invoices, transaction references, and the limited payment details a payment provider returns to us. Card and wallet details are entered on the payment provider's own page — we do not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
- Company and procurement data — organization details, memberships, roles, price-list access, quotes, purchase-order records, receivables, and business communications.
- Delivery and return data — recipient and address details, carrier events and tracking, customs or freight information, signatures, return reasons, photographs, and claim records.
- Support and content data — tickets, attachments, feedback, and other information you choose to send.
- Device and usage data — IP address, device and browser information, referral source, pages and products viewed, interactions, cookies, and similar identifiers. Analytics-derived location or other enriched data is collected only if an enabled provider actually supplies it.
Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information or secrets through general support channels.
How we use information
We use personal information as reasonably necessary to:
- operate the store, authenticate users, and maintain account security;
- show the correct public or authorized company context;
- prepare quotes, accept and fulfill orders, collect payment, deliver goods, process returns and refunds, and maintain the resulting records;
- administer company memberships, procurement permissions, price lists, and credit, invoicing, or receivables processes where used;
- answer questions, investigate problems, and provide customer service;
- prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and other security incidents;
- understand store performance and improve products, navigation, accessibility, and service quality;
- send service communications and, where permitted, marketing selected by the recipient; and
- comply with tax, accounting, trade, sanctions, product-safety, consumer-protection, and other legal obligations.
Where law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on performance of a contract, steps requested before a contract, compliance with law, our or another party's legitimate interests, consent, or another basis disclosed at collection. Consent can be withdrawn for future processing where it is the applicable basis.
Cookies and similar technologies
Essential technologies support authentication, security, basket state, and other store functions you request. Optional analytics and external services run only when configured by the operator and allowed through your privacy choices; recently viewed products are also opt-in. Our Cookie Notice describes the main storage uses, known lifetimes, and deployment-dependent settings.
Use Privacy choices at the bottom of storefront pages to allow, reject or withdraw optional categories. The store honors Global Privacy Control by blocking optional analytics and external-service integrations. Browser controls can also remove storage. These device choices do not erase data already held by the operator or providers; use the privacy-request channels below for applicable access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability rights.
When information is shared
We do not disclose personal information more broadly than reasonably necessary for the purposes above. Recipients may include:
- payment, fraud-prevention, banking, and financing providers;
- warehouses, suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, return processors, and other fulfillment partners;
- hosting, storage, database, authentication, email, analytics, customer-service, and security providers;
- authorized members and administrators of a company account;
- auditors, insurers, legal, tax, and other professional advisers;
- regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety; and
- a successor or transaction counterparty during a legitimate merger, financing, restructuring, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information for money. If a local law treats certain advertising or analytics disclosures as a “sale” or “sharing,” the store operator will provide any notices and choices required for the integrations it enables.
International transfers
A global order may require information to be processed in countries other than your own, including where the store operator, provider, warehouse, carrier, or buyer organization is located. Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms, contractual protections, or another lawful basis and apply safeguards appropriate to the information and risk.
Retention
Retention must be determined for each record type and applicable obligation, including order, tax, account, support, security, and backup records. The store has cleanup functions for selected operational records, but no universal automatic deletion schedule. Device-local shopping, saved-product, and browsing data can persist until you or the browser remove it. The operator must publish the applicable retention periods or determination criteria and arrange deletion, anonymization, legal holds, and backup handling when no longer needed.
Your privacy rights
Depending on location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information; withdraw consent; opt out of certain marketing, sale, sharing, or profiling; and complain to a privacy authority. You may also be entitled to appeal a denied request.
Use the contact page to make a request. We may verify identity, authority, account, or company relationship before acting. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority. We will not unlawfully discriminate against a person for exercising privacy rights.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information, including access controls, protected transport, credential safeguards, logging, and provider review. No online system is completely secure. Keep credentials confidential, use only trusted devices, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Children
This store is not directed to children who cannot lawfully consent to the relevant data processing or enter a purchase contract. If you believe a child provided personal information without required authorization, contact us so it can be reviewed.
Third-party services
External payment, carrier, social, identity, or other services may process information under their own privacy notices. Their independent practices are not controlled by this policy. Review the notice presented by the relevant provider before using an optional service.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the store, providers, practices, or law. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated where required.
Questions and privacy requests can be submitted through our contact page. For account-specific data, sign in when possible so we can verify and respond securely.
Request handling
Use the privacy-request links on this page: an account request opens a dedicated support category with replies and a recorded outcome; a person without an account can contact the published support channel without registering. State your requested right and enough information to locate the relevant records. We verify identity proportionately, apply the deadline required by the relevant law, and explain any permitted extension or refusal. Financial, fraud-prevention or other legally required records may need to be retained; a closed ticket alone is not proof that data has been deleted. You may ask for a review of the response and complain to the competent data-protection authority where applicable.
Online withdrawal notices record the name, acknowledgement email, contract reference, goods covered, notice text, receipt time and subsequent processing record. The notice and its acknowledgement are retained to handle your consumer-rights request and document the response.
